WOMEN’S WEEK CELEBRATION  

WEBINAR ON MENTAL HEALTH IN TIME OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC and ORIENTATION ON IMPORTANCE AND CONSERVATION OF WATER

 (September 6-12, 2021)

The past year and a half has been tough for everyone. This is why mental health should be taken seriously and not be considered a stigma or taboo especially in today’s time as we figure out how to go on with our lives with countless uncertainties around us.

In line with this, the City of San Fernando Water District (CSFWD)together with its partner,PrimeWater Infrastructure Corporation (PWIC) , organized and hosted their first webinar series entitled, “Webinar on Mental Health Management in Time of the COVID-19 Pandemic” last September 6, 2021, in support and participation to the celebration of Women’s Week in the City of San Fernando.

The activity has been a suitable opportunity to learn more about mental health during this COVID situation and the importance and related issues of water in our daily lives.Mr. Aylmer AnthonyAlimurong, the Resource Speaker, shared his experience with Covid-19 and how he managed to overcome the stress, fear, and the worry it came with. He also added how this pandemic has had a major impact in all of our lives that involve major disruptions such as closure of schools, physical distancing, away from family and friends, and many more. Despite all these hindrances, we have a choice to rise above the chaos.
